Introduced at the Geneva Motor Show in March of 1995, the 993 Turbo was the final generation of the legendary air-cooled 911 Turbo and represented pinnacle of an era for Porsche. It was a technological tour-de-force in its day, with twin-turbochargers and an all-wheel-drive system adapted from the 959 supercar. Boasting an additional 30HP over the standard 911 Turbo, the exclusive and extremely limited-production Turbo S variant offered even more exhilarating performance and is thrilling to drive even by modern-day standards with a 0-60 MPH time of only 3.7 seconds which was unheard of in the mid-1990's! Most importantly, though, its air-cooled, analog appeal are unmatched by any car offered today and it represents an automotive experience to be savoured.
Finished in classic Arctic Silver Metallic over Black full leather extended leather interior, this low-mileage, very original example looks absolutely stunning! Sold by us a number of years ago to a local collector and astute investor and now back in our inventory with only 80,000 km and a full service history from new, this special Porsche represents a unique opportunity. It is a rare lightweight Japanese Market version Turbo S, identical to the U.S. market version mechanically and with the same iconic rear-quarter air vents, but without the carbon interior accents, yellow-painted brake calipers, or added weight of the Aerokit and sunroof. It has just been fully inspected and serviced by Porsche and it is ready to be driven and enjoyed or to be tucked away in a collection once again as it continues to appreciate in value!
